The Game Dev Sourcebook is set to be a community-driven resource for video game design and development. Covering as many topics as the community thinks is relevant, the Sourcebook can be appended and edited by the community itself... editors will be carefully chosen, but any registered site user can add comments to contribute to the topics at hand. The pages will be carefully moderated to keep things on-topic and reasonable, but for the most part, I hope the contributors will take the work seriously and write thoughtful, eloquent posts.
At the beginning of this project, the edges may be a little rough. Categories will be the most challenging for me at the start -- they always are. I have trouble being thorough enough without going overboard. Again, please feel free to post your comments about the book and help me make it better. After all, it's our resource!
[I'll edit this intro page later after I see how this thing is shaping up... I told you it's a new feature for me, so please bear with me! :]
I figured I'd just add a page to the book for a suggestion box. Let me know what you'd like to see added to the book if you don't want to add it yourself. :)
Please be helpful with your suggestions and give us enough info to understand your points. If you would like to learn more about a particular topic and want to see info added to the sourcebook, please help us out by setting the stage a bit. IE; give us a context for the question or provide a link or two so we know what you're asking about. We'll do our best to set someone on the subject to research it a bit and get a page added.
If you see a suggestion here and you fancy yourself an expert on the subject, please help out the community by adding your own page to cover the subject. If nothing else, we'd appreciate you posting replies to the requests with your contribution... we ought to be able to take it from there.
Well.. I'll leave this up to you for now. I'll modify this if needed, but this should get things rolling for now.
Thanks!!

blah.
I'm not sure I like this much.. this whole "book" thing. It's perhaps more suited to a literal book than what I'm wanting the Sourcebook to be?
This will be a place for adding "to do" items. It ought to give you an idea of what we're aware of regarding site suggestions and what we're working on next.
This is a read-only page for most viewers... I'm leaving it open to the public for now so you can see what work is being done. It might get closed down at some point... we'll see. :P
